Reaching out takes guts.

And it’s ok if you aren’t sure. Most people feel ambivalent–a part of them knows they want or need support, but another part is anxious, or unsure.

That’s expected.

The Process

For most folks, we will schedule a brief, 15-minute call. Here we get an initial sense of one another and decide whether or not to schedule an initial consultation.

If we do, that first meeting will be about 55 minutes. I will ask a lot of questions, but more importantly, you get to see how I work and who I am. From there, we decide whether to embark on a therapy journey together.

When beginning psychotherapy, I see patients on a weekly basis. Sometimes I see folks on a biweekly basis–it depends.
